𝗕𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱
Blikkenwerpers is an art project by Hujo and Dwaalzin, where we collaborate with volunteers and makers to create exhibitions focused on secular humanistic themes.
Together, we transformed Stelplaats into an amazing exposition you can visit from 31/03 ’til 06/04/2025, centered around ‘boundaries’. Each artist reflected on what this theme means to them and found ways to express it through various forms of media.
We are excited to share these personal interpretations of where boundaries begin, what they are, and how they can be perceived at our Blikkenwerpers expo in the creative space of ‘Stelplaats’.

Blikkenwerpers Leuven kicks off! Come see the results of our makers and toast to the artworks at the opening night of our exposition. There will be exclusive live events to celebrate the opening but we won’t spill those just yet.

Wondering what is going on inside the mind of our makers?
For this special evening you can listen to poetic readings and book presentations while strolling through the exposition at your own pace. You can become immersed through the words of the artists and their unique interpretation of “boundaries”.

On the border between history and present day, between real-life and fiction, we find HEMA — Historical European Martial Arts. Whether you are eager to unleash your inner Witcher or simply curious about how longswords were used throughout history, this demo will surely provide the insights you are looking for!
𝟬𝟯/𝟬𝟰: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗴?! [𝟮𝟬𝗵-𝟬𝟬𝗵]
What the Drag?! makes its debut in Leuven! Join us for a panel discussion where we will discuss the topic of Blikkenwerpers 2025: boundaries in light of queerness. Afterwards you can watch the dragqueens go wild at our incredible show! Drag queens being: Fanny darling, Oddess, Trolletita love, Medusa, Mike, EVARISTA and Iks Tension.

We open the stage for 2 starting bands: Rooftop & Pear Tree. The concept is simple: we get together to create art and dance on live music. There are no rules, no boundaries, just a fullblown thunderstorm of creative energy.
